The Huncote New Hill Nature Reserve

The Nature Reserve is off the Croft Hill Road, just before crossing the humpback bridge into Huncote.

As there are no formal parking arrangements by the access gate you are encouraged to walk from the village.
Informal weekend parking is available from the Aggregates Industries offices car park on Huncote Rd, Croft, Leicestershire LE9 3GT.

Nature walk

The lower level walk in the nature reserve is a flatter route and suitable for disabled users and pushchairs.

There are a series of footpaths including a section of elevated boardwalk.

The paths lead to a number of different habitat types.

The nature trail also follows around to bridges across the River Soar and Thurlaston Brook, which enable you to complete a circular route into Croft and back around Croft Hill.
